... It was a dark, cold and stormy winter night of 2003
and on the local vhf frequency, The good Giovanni IK8LIU (the man of
Tonga) and Oreste IZ8EDJ (the knight of Battipaglia), were discussing
eventual
activities to carry out in the summer, between a lightning bolt and a
thunder Oreste was excited from the idea to create a very special team,
to put together the more "fool and weird" italian hams, but at the same
time the more professionals.
While thinking about that, immediately came in their mind.... Fabio IZ1EGT
(the octopus of the key), Marco IZ7DOK (the Don... Juan of Lecce ),
obviously could not be lacking IZ8EQF Francesco (Popeye) and finally our
dear Enzo IK8YTG (for the friends: "Gigi", the man of "to be or to is
not, this is the problem ")....
From this event the adventure begins... the remainder will be told from
the story...
The Strange Radio Team has been formely created on the day 02 August 2003
in the town of Agropoli, Salerno, from the following hams:
